芡粿(Starch Cake) 製作是將糯米研磨成漿,再加入花生及九層塔,以熱油煎成薄餅,花生的香氣與九層塔的美味相結合,令綠島人即使到了外地還會懷念這道家鄉美食。芡粿在過去是入厝、廟會才吃得到的珍品,今日則是吃巧又吃飽的美食。 Green Islands traditional fired cakes are made of rice milk , peanuts , basil and spring onions . 海菜湯(Seaweed Soup) 冬季綠島的婦人,頂著強烈的東北季風採集生長在礁岩或海砂中的海藻,經過繁複清洗手續,把海砂等雜質處裡乾淨,完畢後與柴魚片、蛋花、青菜、吻仔魚一起煮湯,即成為一道營養價值高的綠島傳統菜餚。 The seaweeds collected around Green Island are very special.
